Hi again, I’m passionate about helping people speak fluently, think clearly, and connect across cultures. My focus is on real communication—building fluency, improving oral understanding, and helping students feel confident speaking in any situation. I come from a background where movement, learning, and personal growth are all connected. I’ve trained for marathons, Ironman races, and ultra trail runs, and I believe learning a language is a similar kind of journey: it takes consistency, motivation, and courage. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress and presence.

"Fluency First – My Approach to Teaching English" Hello everyone, My name is Flo, and I’m an English teacher with a clear focus: helping learners become fluent, confident speakers. My approach centers on oral communication—specifically, improving fluency, listening comprehension, and real-world speaking skills. In my experience, many learners struggle with English not because they don’t know grammar or vocabulary, but because they don’t get enough chances to use the language in real conversations. That’s where I come in. My goal is to create a space where students are encouraged to speak, to make mistakes, and to learn naturally—just as they did with their first language. My Teaching Philosophy I believe in communication over perfection. I prioritize fluency over accuracy, especially in the beginning. Language should flow, not freeze. That means less emphasis on textbook rules, and more on listening, speaking, and expressing ideas clearly. How I Teach In every lesson, I encourage interaction. We start with simple conversations and progress to complex discussions based on real-life situations. I use a wide range of materials—from podcasts and YouTube clips to TED Talks and spontaneous dialogues. These help students train their ears to understand different accents and speaking speeds. My lessons often include: Warm-up speaking questions Listening exercises based on real English Role plays and dialogues Shadowing and pronunciation practice Immediate feedback in a supportive way What Students Gain Students who work with me learn to: Express themselves clearly and naturally Understand native speakers even when they speak fast Develop confidence to speak in any situation—travel, work, studies Think in English and respond without translating I also help them overcome fear of speaking by making learning enjoyable and practical. We talk about real things—current events, personal goals, everyday experiences—so English becomes part of their daily thinking. Why This Approach Matters In real life, people don’t ask if your sentence is grammatically perfect—they care if you can communicate. That’s why I train my students to use English with confidence in conversations, meetings, interviews, and social situations. Fluency is about connection.
