Acerca de Patricia
Hi, I’m Patricia. I’m originally from Madrid and work as a graphic designer. I have experience teaching both languages and design, and I’ve learned that people rarely understand or remember information in exactly the same way.
I don’t like filling a lesson with disconnected exercises. Before we begin, I’ll ask why you want to learn Spanish and where you currently feel stuck. From there, I prepare each session around situations that are genuinely useful to you. If you need Spanish for work, we can practise emails, meetings, interviews or vocabulary from your profession. If your goal is conversation, we’ll focus on expressions you can actually use in daily life.
My design background influences how I teach: I organise information visually, use colour to connect ideas and create clear materials that are easier to revisit. After every class, I send you the presentation, notes and short exercises for the rest of the week.
I’m a native Spanish speaker and speak English at C1 level, so I can explain difficult points clearly when necessary. I prefer realistic goals and honest feedback to promises about becoming fluent overnight.

My lessons are practical, visual and completely adapted to each student’s goals. I combine conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar through realistic situations, helping you understand not only what to say, but also when and how to use it naturally.
As a graphic designer, I prepare clear, visually engaging materials with colour-coded vocabulary, illustrated examples, structured notes and practical exercises. After every lesson, you will receive the presentations and notes we used, along with optional daily activities so you can continue progressing independently throughout the week.
A typical 60-minute lesson includes:
• A short conversation and review of previous content
• New vocabulary or grammar explained in context
• Guided exercises based on real-life situations
• Speaking and pronunciation practice
• Personal feedback and a clear plan for continued practice
My classes are friendly and encouraging: mistakes are treated as an essential part of learning. I use English when necessary to explain difficult concepts, but gradually introduce more Spanish as your confidence improves.
The lessons are designed for English-speaking adults, from complete beginners to intermediate learners (A1–B2). I can help you with everyday conversation, travel, workplace Spanish, professional vocabulary, interviews, presentations, written communication, or preparation practice for DELE and SIELE examinations.
Whether you want to feel more confident speaking Spanish or need a structured programme for a specific goal, we will create a learning plan that works for you.
