Acerca de Patricia
I have 15 years of experience teaching languages to both children and adults. I had the opportunity to teach Spanish in the United States for eight years at an Elementary School in Chapel Hill, NC. I also worked as a freelance teacher for adults, helping them improve their language skills and make a difference in their careers as doctors, nurses, pharmaceutical marketing professionals, and lawyers.
I have extensive experience teaching both small groups and individuals, with a particular expertise in developing didactic materials and projects. I enjoy teaching and creating a safe and engaging space where students can learn with confidence.

Teacher of ELE - (Español como Lengua Extranjera) recognized by the University of Barcelona. This is the Spanish equivalent of ESL. I am also a certified Spanish Teacher in the USA.
My classes are adapted to the students' needs, interests, and goals. They are based on the communicative method. What does it mean?
Focus on speaking & understanding, not memorizing grammar
Real-world materials: songs, menus, ads, dialogues
Emphasis on fluency & meaning, not just accuracy
Interactive tasks: role-plays, discussions, interviews...
Learn to use the language, not just study it!
The first class is free, and there is no commitment. It will consist of an interview to get to know you and create an initial study program tailored to your goals. Planning is flexible as we move forward.
The class can be held in a public space. I also offer conversational lessons while taking a walk around the city (18€/h). Through this option, you will also learn about our traditions and local hangouts.
