Hi there, nice to meet you!
I am Fleur and I am a TEFL-certified English teacher in Bilbao, where I've been living since 2015. I have experience with teaching English to students of ESO, adults and companies. I will help you improve your English in a nice, informal way, because the most important thing is that you are having fun while learning the language.
I can prepare you for the Cambridge exams: PET (B1-level), First (B2-level) and CAE (C1-level), but I am also there for you if you just want to practise your conversation skills or need some extra help with grammar and vocabulary. I would love to help you!

Me llamo Fleur y soy profesora de inglés titulada en Bilbao, donde vivo desde el año 2015. Tengo experiencia en la enseñanza del inglés para estudiantes de la ESO, adultos y empresas. Te ayudo a perfeccionar tu inglés de manera divertida e informal, porque lo más importante es que te diviertas aprendiendo un idioma.
Te puedo preparar para los exámenes de Cambridge: PET (nivel B1), First (nivel B2) y CAE (nivel C1), pero también si quieres poner en práctica tu habilidades de conversación o si necesitas más ayuda con la gramática y/o el vocabulario, me encantaría ayudarte!

Each student has different needs when learning a language; one prefers conversational classes when we mainly practise speaking and listening skills, the other learns better with structured classes focused on grammar and vocabulary. As a teacher I adapt myself to the student's needs.
I do think it is important that the class is FUN and DYNAMIC. Therefore, I use teaching material from editorials, educational videos and online learning applications to vary the structure of the classes.
The most effective way to learn a language and become FLUENT in it, is to put it into practice. Use the language as much as possible. That is why I always apply the Direct Method in my English classes, which means that I only use English in class, so that the student gets more confident in using English him/herself too.
How to IMPROVE? As a teacher I am on top of the progress of the student. I make sure that the student develops all skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. For each class I prepare relevant exercises and activities to learn new things, but also to review and revise what's already learned.
