Acerca de María
I study Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada. I am doing my fourth year and my first foreign language is English, then German and finally Italian
Regarding English, I have studied it since I was 6 years old and I have a C1 Cambridge level. I have been to several language immersion camps and lived abroad for a year. I also do socio-cultural volunteering with children, which has given me experience in dealing with them in educational and recreational contexts. I have been giving private lessons for a year, with very good results and satisfied students.
As for Spanish, I study it as part of my university degree, apart from being my native language. Therefore, in addition to my knowledge as a native speaker, I have the knowledge and perspective of studying it theoretically. I can teach Spanish for foreign people and "Lengua castellana".
My teaching style is fun, enjoyable, adapted to the needs of each student and with a lot of conversation. I prepare the classes and homework in advance. My main aim is to pass on my enthusiasm for English and Spanish to my students. I make sure that all the language skills are developed equally (listening, writing, speaking, reading) and I give extra reinforcement to the parts that are more difficult depending on the student.

I study Spanish as part of my translation degree so I have the perspective and knowledge of studying it theoretically, apart from being native Spanish.
I like to make my classes fun, entertaining, dynamic and participative. I adapt to any necessity or interest that the students have and I use a wide range of different activities.
