Acerca de Lynette
Qualifications; GRSM (Hons) LRAM Royal Academy of Music.
I was first soprano with the Radiotelevision chorus, Madrid and 12 years with the Royal Opera House chorus, Madrid. I'm a regular soloist with the Association of Spanish Symphonic Composers, Transbaroque and Diletto Ensamble in Valencia and perform musical theatre roles with BCC Productions, also in Valencia.
As a soloist, I have performed opera roles and given recitals in venues such as The Auditorio Nacional de España, Gloucester, Truro and Algiers Cathedrals, the British, Irish, USA, Cameroon, Brazilian Embassies and the Universities of Granada, Madrid and California among others.
I've taught singing for 35 years preparing students for ABRSM exams, conservatory auditions and performance roles and in 2014 formed the Madrid International Choir. My 'Let's Get Singing' project, started after COVID, now has singing groups in Valencia and the Costa Blanca and I organize team building sessions for corporations and well-being groups.

Everyone is born to sing. It's so good for us, for our physical and mental well-being, and it's FUN! I've sung since I was born (literally) and love how it makes us feel happy and brings us all together. I work on producing a natural, safe sound that is unique to you. This involves breathing technique, voice placement, improving listening skills and how to use the full range and colors that our amazing voices can produce.
Learning a variety of different songs helps to develop different styles and to find what works for you, learning everything from folk songs to Baroque, opera, musical and so on from different countries and in different languages.
I have worked with students learning for the first time to those preparing for choir auditions and Royal Schools exams, training singers as advanced as Fellowship level.
