Acerca de Melani
Hi! I’m Melani, a Spanish teacher originally from Peru and I´ve been living in Madrid for the past five years. I believe that learning a language is about much more than grammar, it’s about gaining the confidence to communicate, connect with people, and enjoy new experiences.
Before becoming a full- time Spanish teacher, I worked as an economist and business consultant, training entrepreneurs and professionals. That experience taught me that every person learns in a unique way, and today it shapes the way I teach.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all lessons. Every class is carefully designed around your goals, interests, pace, and learning style.
Whether you’re learning Spanish for work, travel, life in Spain, or simply for the joy of speaking a new language, we’ll create a learning journey that truly fits you.
My teaching approach is based on Spanish immersion. From the very beginning, I help you understand and communicate naturally through meaningful conversations, visual support, real-life situations, and engaging activities. You don’t need to be perfect to start speaking you simply need the right environment to build confidence.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. Every learner brings a unique story, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about my work.
For me, the greatest reward is seeing that moment when a student stops worrying about making mistakes and begins to speak with confidence.

Before we begin, I’d like to get to know you: your goals, your interests, your previous experience with Spanish, and how you enjoy learning. Together, we’ll create lessons that feel meaningful, practical, and motivating.
My classes are based on Spanish immersion. From the very beginning, you’ll hear, understand, and use Spanish in a natural way through conversation, real-life situations, visual support, and activities connected to your interests. I guide you step by step so you feel comfortable using the language without the pressure of being perfect.
I believe that making mistakes is a natural part of learning. That’s why I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can ask questions, build confidence, and enjoy the process.
Whether your goal is to travel, live in Spain, communicate at work, or simply have real conversations, I’ll adapt every lesson to help you move forward with confidence.

Aunque todavía no he tenido la oportunidad de ser alumna suya, por cómo es como persona y cómo trata a la gente estoy segura de que es una profesora estupenda. Tiene una forma muy cercana y natural de conectar con los demás, se interesa de verdad por cada persona y se a cada uno de manera muy personalizada. Siempre se toma su tiempo para escuchar, ayudar y crear un ambiente cómodo y agradable. Además de enseñar bien, transmite confianza y hace que sea muy fácil sentirse a gusto con ella. She has a wonderful talent of describing new words in easy to understand Spanish so we never have to use English or translators.
